Therapy can take courage, but a beautiful healing can arise when processing through life's struggle with a professional able to help you see the things you are unable to see. Teresa incorporates her extensive training and experience in Social Work, Psychoanalysis and Somatic Experiencing as a framework for providing a safe space for healing and growth. Teresa also utilizes holistic techniques in order to provide a deep treatment and healing so that life can be led in the most fulfilling and enjoyable way.
Psychoanalysis is a unique and profound treatment for those wanting to delve into their experiences and avoid living "the unexamined life". Teresa is trained in Contemporary Freudian psychoanalysis and utilizes the couch as appropriate for the individual as a tool to help deepen the treatment. Psychoanalysis is, more than any other therapy, a treatment that uses the dynamics of the relationship between analyst and analyzee as a microcosm to better understand oneself in the world. For this reason, most often psychoanalysis occurs 3-4 times weekly. It is a process that can be both beautiful and painful at times. Psychoanalysis allows those who undertake this journey to life life to their fullest potential.
Ayurveda is the highly effective ancient Indian medicine that dentifies the root cause of disease using the wisdom of nature. In the initial intake, a comprehensive interview and examination is completed to identify the person's original unique makeup/healthiest state of being, as well as their imbalances which manifest in disease and mental health struggles. During the progression of treatment, the five sense therapies {herbs, nutrition, aromatherapy, abhyanga self-massage, sound, light therapy & more} are used to help create the optimal environment for the body, heart, mind & spirit to heal.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient and powerful healing modality found in the oldest philosophical yoga texts which offers the participant a deep state of rest and relaxation. It is a state of acute consciousness during which the external senses are withdrawn and one's awareness of the subtle energy body is expanded. While resting comfortably, participants are guided through an experience that activates the alpha brain waves of awareness and the delta and theta brain waves of sleep allowing for deep healing and creative processes to take place.
